I have recommended this place to so many friends that I HAD to sit down to write this review. Ocho has been my go to place for sherry and tapas. It's a little spot on the corner of market and 24th, just a block away from busy Ballard ave bars so it's not as crowded. You still might need to wait for 10-15 minutes for a table.
I always get a sherry and some tapas (I love snacking with wine/cocktails). If you are not sure what kind of sherry to get, you can try the sherry flight. The cocktails are good too. Tapas is really small portions, so it's not an alternative for dinner. They have seasonal tapas and desserts which are usually pretty good.
The service is great and bartender is friendly. If you are in the neighborhood, I highly recommend checking this place out! -

After two visits to Ocho within the month I feel comfortable in making my review. I like Ocho! I like their delicious menu items. It is a fabulous place for tapas and drinks. Conveniently located on market Street in Ballard you can easily spot this place on the street. My favorite dish after visiting twice is hands down is the fried goat cheese. I tried several other appetizers and they were all good. The garlic shrimp is absolutely .
The first time I went to Ocho the only downside was the bathroom. There were a gang of flies there and I felt like I was about to get jumped. But I love how the restaurant is taken care to use the space. It is a small restaurant but still a great place for groups. I don't know how they work their sorcery but it's true! I'll definitely come back here for the food and drinks and super cool ambience. -

Nice happy hour deals, try the sangria!!
Came here again after happy hours and ordered some cocktails. Service took awhile and it wasn't a full house, but the cocktails were presented nicely! I enjoyed the beet in my drink. -

This little jewel box is worth visiting. It somehow manages to walk the line between dark & cozy & flooded with natural light. They have a decent outdoor area, lots of bar stools, and a few inside tables.
Cocktails, sherry sampler, good beer, lots of wine options-- this place has got you covered.
This is a great place to come with a group of omnivores + a vegetarian. The menu has lots of tasty options to mix & match & share around that will make everyone happy. -

We arrived on a cold night. The interiors are cozy and intimate. Great place to be with close friends or on a good date. We ordered the delivery egg, sherry mushrooms, croquettes, and broccoli. All of the food was amazing. Our waitress was friendly and great as well!
The sherry mushrooms and croquettes were my favorite but the others came a close second! Would highly recommend Ocho!!
